Research on the Rabbit Olfactory Bulb Neurons is essential to the study of anosmia, Parkinson's-related olfactory dysfunction, Alzheimer's progression, traumatic smell loss, and Zika virus-induced neuronal damage. The olfactory bulb is a neural structure of olfaction (the sense of smell), located in the vertebrate forebrain. It transmits the olfaction signal received from the nose to the amygdala, the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC), and the hippocampus for further processing, learning, and memory. The Rabbit Olfactory Bulb Neurons are to be used with Rabbit Olfactory Bulb Neuron Medium (Cat. No. ACM0871). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
