Esophagus
Research on the Human Esophageal Microvascular Endothelial Cells is essential to the study of esophageal inflammation, gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal cancer, eosinophilic esophagitis, and portal hypertension-induced varices. The esophagus is a muscular tube that connects the throat (pharynx) to the stomach. It uses rhythmic muscular contractions called peristalsis to transport food from the mouth to the stomach. It is divided into cervical, thoracic, and abdominal sections. The Human Esophageal Microvascular Endothelial Cells are to be used with Human Esophageal Microvascular Endothelial Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0040). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
