Skin (hair follicle)
Research on the Human Hair Follicular Keratinocytes is essential to the study of inflammatory hair diseases (e.g., folliculitis), psoriasis, eczema, skin barrier defects, and hair cycle regulation. The skin is the largest organ of the body, covering the entire external surface. It has three layers: epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis. The skin functions in protection, temperature regulation, sensory perception, immunology, and the production of vitamin D. The Human Hair Follicular Keratinocytes are to be used with Human Hair Follicle Keratinocyt Medium (Cat. No. ACM0062). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
