Research on the Human Tonsil Fibroblasts is essential to the study of tonsillar fibrosis, scar formation post-adenotonsillectomy, extracellular matrix remodeling in sleep apnea-associated hypertrophy, and stromal support for B-cell germinal centers in autoimmune disorders. The tonsils are two round masses of lymphoid tissue in the back of the throat, near the entrance of the respiratory and digestive tract. It acts as a first line of immune defense against inhaled and ingested pathogens. The Human Tonsil Fibroblasts are to be used with Human Tonsil Fibroblast Medium (Cat. No. ACM0167). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
