Research on the Rat Femoral Artery Endothelial Cells is essential to the study of peripheral artery disease models, hindlimb ischemia studies, endothelial dysfunction in diabetes, and wire injury-induced neointimal hyperplasia. The femoral artery is a major blood vessel in the thigh and primarily supplies oxygenated blood to the lower limb. It originates below the inguinal ligament as a continuation of the external iliac artery, then travels down along the inner thigh and transitions into the popliteal artery above the knee (in the popliteal fossa). The femoral artery is also a critical site in clinical settings; it is commonly used for emergency bleeding control and vascular access in interventional procedures. The Rat Femoral Artery Endothelial Cells are to be used with Rat Femoral Artery Endothelial Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0202). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only.
