The esophagus is a muscular tube that connects the throat (pharynx) to the stomach. It uses rhythmic muscular contractions called peristalsis to transport food from the mouth to the stomach. It is divided into cervical, thoracic, and abdominal sections. The Mouse Esophageal Smooth Muscle Cells are to be used with Mouse Esophageal Smooth Muscle Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0461).
