Beagle Dog Monocytes are often referred to as CD14+ monocytes, because of their expression of CD14. They are a subset of mononuclear phagocytes expressing the CD14 receptor, involved in innate immunity and inflammation. CD14+ Monocytes are used to study monocyte function, inflammatory responses, and differentiation into macrophages or dendritic cells.
