The ESRRA Knockout HK-2 Cell Line provides a CRISPR/Cas9-edited loss-of-function model for the nuclear receptor ERR?? in immortalized human kidney proximal tubule epithelial cells. ERR??, coactivated by PGC-1??, transcriptionally regulates genes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis and fatty acid oxidation, including PDK4 and CPT1B.
