Muscle (skeletal muscle)
Research on the Human Skeletal Muscle Cells is essential to the study of muscular dystrophies (e.g., Duchenne), sarcopenia, rhabdomyolysis, critical illness myopathy, and statin-induced myopathy. Skeletal muscle is one of the three muscle tissues in the body, the other two are cardiac muscle and smooth muscle. It attaches to bones to enable movement. The Human Skeletal Muscle Cells are to be used with Human Skeletal Muscle Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0160). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
