Research on the Rat Coronary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells is essential to the study of coronary artery restenosis, atherosclerosis, vascular calcification, hypertension-induced arterial remodeling, and coronary vasospasm. The coronary arteries are the blood vessels that supply the heart muscle with oxygen-rich blood. They are divided into the left and right branches and encircle the heart in a pattern of “crown”. Narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries can lead to coronary artery disease (CAD), with common symptoms such as chest pain (angina) and shortness of breath. In severe cases, it may result in myocardial infarction (heart attack) or heart failure. The Rat Coronary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells are to be used with Rat Coronary Artery Smooth Muscle Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0196). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
