Research on the Rat Pulmonary Artery Adventitial Fibroblasts is essential to the study of vascular wall fibrosis in pulmonary hypertension, radiation-induced pulmonary vasculitis, and systemic sclerosis-associated pulmonary vascular disease. The lungs are connected to the trachea through the bronchi, and their interiors are filled with alveoli, which provide a large surface area for efficient gas exchange during respiration.
