Research on the Rat Trigeminal Neurons is essential to the study of migraine pathophysiology, trigeminal neuralgia, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, orofacial pain, and herpes zoster ophthalmicus. The trigeminal nerve is the fifth (CN V) cranial nerve and transmits nerve signals between the brain and the face. The Rat Trigeminal Neurons are to be used with Rat Trigeminal Neuron Medium (Cat. No. ACM0377). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
