Research on the Human Placental Vascular Endothelial Cells is essential to the study of the development of disorders such as placental insufficiency, intrauterine growth restriction, and pre-eclampsia. The placenta is a temporary organ developed in the uterus during pregnancy. It attaches to the uterine wall and connects to the developing fetus by the umbilical cord. Through the umbilical cord, the placenta provides oxygen and nutrients to the fetus. The Human Placental Vascular Endothelial Cells are to be used with Human Placental Vascular Endothelial Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0128). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
