Research on the Rat Tongue Epithelial Cells is essential to the study of oral lichen planus, tongue squamous cell carcinoma, geographic tongue, burning mouth syndrome, and candidiasis. The tongue is a muscular organ in the oral cavity. It is covered with muscosa and papillae and has sensory organs (taste buds) for the initial phases of digestion. The Rat Tongue Epithelial Cells are to be used with Rat Tongue Epithelial Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0396). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
