Media and Reagents

Reliable cell culture begins with the right nutritional environment, surface support, and handling reagents. Ascent Research provides cell culture media and reagents for researchers working with primary cells, cell lines, and other in vitro models. This category brings together media systems, basal formulations, supplements, coating materials, dissociation reagents, and other culture additives used throughout cell recovery, expansion, maintenance, and experimental preparation.

For primary cell culture, we offer cell-type-specific media kits designed to support the growth and maintenance requirements of sensitive cells. These kits are typically built around an appropriate basal medium and may include defined supplements, serum or serum-free components, antibiotics, attachment-supporting additives, and other formulation elements selected for the target cell type. By using a matched media system, researchers can better support cell viability, morphology, and functional stability during routine culture.

Ascent Research also supplies commonly used basal media and balanced salt solutions for general mammalian cell culture workflows. Available formulations may include DMEM, RPMI 1640, DMEM/F12, MEM, EMEM, IMDM, Ham’s F-12, Medium 199, HBSS, DPBS, and PBS, depending on product availability. These media serve as flexible foundations for custom culture conditions and can be combined with serum, amino acids, buffering systems, antibiotics, recombinant growth factors, or other supplements based on experimental design.

Our cell culture reagents are selected to support essential culture operations, including cell attachment, passaging, nutrient supplementation, and culture surface preparation.
