Research on the Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells is essential to the study of preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), gestational diabetes-related endothelial dysfunction, umbilical vein thrombosis, and viral infections affecting placental vasculature. The umbilical vein is one of three blood vessels in the umbilical cord. It delivers oxygenated and nutrient-rich blood from the placenta to the fetus. The Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells are to be used with Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cell Medium (Cat. No. ACM0172). This product is intended for laboratory in vitro use only. It is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
